@ udo:
my answer, personally, as you know: no - in german settings opt-in is feasible and more useful. and I cannot see why this should be different in other western european countries
btw, the cd4-count of 350 as "late presenter" could be put in question. not long ago, this limit was considered as beeing 100 or 200. putting the barrier higher massively increases the number of people affected ... so for me these numbers (as presented) remain highly questionable (and maybe intentional?)

Am I the only one asking, why we are always facing the same representatives earning personal reputation and more by perpetually being invited to international meeting's core events and being personally paid on community-related projects?

As to my best knowledge and to my explicit opinion, some of them have repeatedly proven themselves corrupt in the worst sense: Claiming community representation (with no mandate at all, even neglecting communicated community tasks) while gaining quite explicit personal profit by stealing intellectual property.

I am looking forward to your contributions, may they support my impression with further evidence or not.

If you really want me to explain more about this (although we all know), just ask me for further information.

For confidentiallity: mic.rasmussen@lhive.ch
