Auf ihrer “99th Session of the International Labour Conference, 2010″ diskutierte die ILO intensiv über die Frage von HIV/Aids im Erwerbsleben. Ziel war dabei, Stigmatisierung und Diskriminierung von HIV-Positiven im Erwerbsleben entgegen zu treten.
Als Ergebnis der Diskussionen (und vorbereitenden Arbeitsgruppen) der ILO wurde eine Resolution verabschiedet:
„Resolution concerning the promotion and the implementation of the Recommendation on HIV and AIDS and the world of work, 2010“
