Das RKI weist zudem hin auf entsprechende europäische Leitlinien

– Proposed Recommendations for the Management of HIV Post-Exposure Prophylaxis after sexual, injecting Drug or other Exposures in Europe,
sowie auf US-amerikanische Leitlinien
– US-Guidelines für berufliche HBV-, HCV- und HIV-Postexpositionsprophylaxe, und
– US-Guidelines für nicht-berufliche HIV-Postexpositionsprophylaxe.
